NCRC Finishes 2nd Nationally in Summer Field Day 2019!
Despite losing a large chunk of time on Saturday due to horrible weather (hail and thunderstorms) and equipment failures, Newport County Radio Club finished 2nd place nationally in our 2A category. That is our highest finishing position in history!
We finished in 4th place in the New England Division when looking at all transmitter categories (2, 3, and 11)
And 1st place in RI
Reminder: NCRC Meeting Monday November 11 @ 7 PM
The next NCRC meeting will be held on Monday November 11th — yep that Veteran’s Day, and KVH is open.
The primary focus of the business meeting will be the election of officers, discussion of the December Christmas Party, and upcoming Winter Field Day events. There is no planned presentation, but a short ham-related video might be shown.
