Our regular club meeting will be Monday May 10th at 7 PM. Invitations to the Zoom meeting will be sent out by email to members later this weekend.
This meeting focus will be on Field Day plans, as the club is preparing a more traditional operation this year than last, as many members are now fully vaccinated. The business meeting will be short.
NCRC will be holding Field Day at Glen Park this year. Details are still being worked out, and the latest news will be posted on the “Field Day 2021” tab on the website.
Just a quick reminder that we are holding both Technician (April 20th 6 PM) and General (April 23rd 6 PM) classes. As usual the classes are free and are held online.

Our next Newport County Radio Club meeting will be held on Monday April 12th at 7 PM via Zoom. Members will be receiving an invitation by this weekend.
After our regular business meeting, Chris Lirakis, PhD, from IBM’s Quantum Computer Group, will give a presentation on the relationship of Qubits used in Quantum Computing to resonant circuits in our radios.
NCRC is happy to announce a new online Technician Class starting Tuesday April 20 at 6 PM, as well as an online General Class starting Friday April 23 at 6PM.
Both classes are free and available to the general public, however registration is required.
