The club has reserved a large pavilion at Colt State Park for Sunday September 15th, 2024. We will hold our third annual Pete Lawson Outdoor Adventure (PLOA) on that date, and will likely be formally celebrating our 75th year of being an ARRL Affiliated Club (July 18, 1949).

This year’s Newport County Radio Club year-end party
was a big hit. The event was held at the Hometown
Tavern restaurant in Warren, RI. The food and beverages
were fantastic as were all the events & presentations.
Newly elected NCRC President, John Vecoli was there
first to greet all arriving guests. Exiting club president
Nancy Austin was honored with several award
presentations for all the good work and accomplishments
she’s achieved on behalf of the club. A traditional Yankee
Swap provided laughter and entertainment for all. Now, on
to 2024. Happy New Year!
Many may not know that the club song Modulations was inspired by KC1IPJ and he has has been consulting with Elves again. Enjoy his latest contribution to our Field Day activities.
