NCRC Meeting Reminder: Mon Jun 10 @ 7 PM

Hi everybody, it is time for a Newport County Radio Club meeting this Monday June 10th at 7 PM, at KVH.

This is our last meeting before Field Day, and there is lots to cover.  In addition to our regular business items, we will be having the second reading of proposed Bylaw changes (introduced in May).

As a reminder, please don’t forget to register for Field Day.  Not only can you list your interest in helping to setup/take-down, and your desire to operate, but it also lets us know how many to expect for Saturday Dinner (6 PM).  Without that information, we might not have enough food!!!

Please register for Field Day by clicking this link!

PLEASE Don’t Forget to Register for Field Day

Field Day is only TWO weeks away.  The “Field Day 2019” Tab has been active on our website since April, but VERY FEW have used it to register for Field Day.  We need this information to ensure that we have enough food to feed all the volunteers that assist in setup & take-down, plus the operators.

You will see the “Field Day 2019” tab along the bottom of the page banner like this:

About a third of the way down the page is the registration section.  Please click the link that says “Please Click on This Link to Register”

NCRC Meeting Monday May 13 @ 7 PM

We will have a regular NCRC meeting on Monday May 13, at 7 PM, at KVH (75 Enterprise DR, Middletown, RI).

It will be a busy meeting.  In addition to the regular business meeting, we will be having the first reading of Constitution and Bylaw changes to clarify some membership issues.  In addition there will be a presentation by John K1JSM, and Jim KA1ZOU on QSLing and Logging.  Willy W1LY will be discussing some things to watch out for during Field Day logging.  And of course, we will be discussing Field Day itself.

Hope to see everyone there!

We are seeking as many members as we can muster. I realize this is a weekday, and many of us work. But I do hope we can get a good number of you to support this event.
