The next NCRC meeting will be at the Middletown VFW, 52 Underwood LN, at 7:00 PM on November 11.
We will be having a raffle of a dual-band HT. The raffle winner will receive their choice of half of the raffle proceeds or a new BaoFeng UV-5R dual-band HT.

Club members are reminded that the next meeting of the club, Monday, October 14, will be held at the Gilbert-Burton VFW Post, 52 Underwood Lane, Middletown, RI.
This is a much larger facility with ample parking and is located right off of Coddington Highway.
A survey was sent to all our members today to determine how many might be interested in an Upgrade Class to General to be held next spring. So far the survey has been mailed only to NCRC members, but we might open it up to a state-wide audience at a later date.

The latest NCRC Technician Class began on Monday September 16, with seven students. Classes will be held for the next five Monday, and an exam will be held on October 28th. As we did last session, students who pass the exam and join NCRC for two years will receive a HT once they receive their license.

Anyone who has attended recent NCRC meetings knows that we’ve outgrown our long-time home at the ARC. For the past several months the club has been looking for larger accommodations. We are happy to announce that beginning in October, meetings will now be held at the Gilbert-Burton VFW Post, 52 Underwood Lane, Middletown, RI.
