{"id":8248,"date":"2024-03-16T12:56:11","date_gmt":"2024-03-16T16:56:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/w1sye.org\/?p=8248"},"modified":"2024-03-16T12:57:00","modified_gmt":"2024-03-16T16:57:00","slug":"changes-to-pota-naming-conventions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/w1sye.org\/?p=8248","title":{"rendered":"Changes to POTA Naming Conventions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"gmail_default\">The POTA program has been in the process of changing\u00a0all park prefixes from their\u00a0original format to a new format that follows the ISO standard for naming entities.\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">On March 20, 2024, parks in the US will change from being listed as &#8220;K-xxxxx&#8221; to &#8220;US-xxxxx&#8221; (the K changes to US).<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"gmail_default\">\n<p class=\"gmail_default\">Changes for other countries have either already taken place or will take place soon.
