Italian astronaut Paolo Nespoli, IZ0JPA — currently aboard the International Space Station — is scheduled to talk to 16 lucky students from<\/u>\u00a0<\/u>Bishop Hendricken High School<\/a>\u00a0<\/u>and<\/u>\u00a0<\/u>St. Mary Academy – Bay View<\/a>\u00a0<\/u>this Thursday Nov 30th at noon.<\/u><\/p>\n

RI students and the general public are invited to watch the livestream<\/u>\u00a0of the event starting at 1140AM via\u00a0https:\/\/livestream.com\/accounts\/9685187\/events\/7946215<\/a><\/p>\n

Claudio, IK1SLD,\u00a0 will be operating the ground station and linking to Bishop Hendricken via telebridge.\u00a0 The student questions are expected to begin around\u00a012:04PM.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Bishop Hendricken is expected to become RI’s first high school to have such a contact.\u00a0

This opportunity comes from the volunteers at Rhode Island STEAM Academy who view\u00a0early and regular<\/i>\u00a0exposure to STEAM problem-solving as critical to the growth of Rhode Island’s economy.<\/span><\/p>\n
