- Gag gift, sometimes we have gifts that float back and forth for many years. If you have one that has history, add a card to share that history with the new owner.
- HAM related items that are just sitting in your shack.
- If you have to but something, try to keep it under $10
We will give a ticket to each person who turns in a gift at the beginning of the night.
Later we will start by pulling the first ticket. The person with the matching ticket will come up, pick a gift and unwrap it in front of the group (so all can see the gift). Before sitting down that person will pick the next ticket.
The next person will come up, pick a gift and unwrap it in front of the group. At this point, this person can keep the gift, pick a ticket, and return to their seat. OR, they can SWAP their gift with one of the other gifts opened before them.
This cycle continues until the last gift is done. At that point the person who went FIRST, can select from any of the gifts and have LAST SWAP! Otherwise they can keep their gift and we can return to our socialization.
Remember, you get what you get and have no regrets!
