Newport County Radio Club is happy to announce our third annual Pete Lawson Outdoor Adventure (PLOA) recognizing the achievements of club members, and the many activities that the club participates in throughout the year. It’s also a fun way to get together and enjoy a late summer day! This year’s event will be held at Colt State Park in Bristol RI on Sunday September 15 starting at 11 AM and running through 4 PM. Join us as we:
- Celebrate 75 years of Newport County Radio Club
- Honor & Commemorate “Silent Keys” (Silent Key – term of respect for departed Hams/Members)
- Enjoy time with others sharing common interests
- Picnic – Professionally catered luncheon
- Free catered luncheon for paid up members and their families
- Ham related games, contests & prizes
- Education – For the young and not-so-young
- ARRL Leaders to make 75th anniversary presentation to NCRC.
You can help with the PLOA the following ways:
- Volunteer to help, Day of the event, prior to the event, promoting the event, set-up, take-down, etc.
