Greetings from Rhode Island!
Thank you very much for your interest in joining the Newport County Radio Club’s effort to Activate all Rhode Island POTA References (6-10 September 2023). We’re excited to welcome you to Rhode Island!
Below is a link to a brief survey. The goal of the survey is to give us an overview of your availability, general park preferences, and modes you will use during the event. We will cover all Rhode Island references during the four days, and we would like to use as many modes as possible. The link to the survey is here.
As a side note, we are hoping to have at least 50 QSOs from every reference to give hunters a shot at a clean sweep of the state. We understand that propagation and band conditions will be factors, but we’d like to keep 50 as the goal. We hope activators will submit logs no later than 17 September 2023.
