Narragansett Bay Islands

The Islands of Narragansett Bay have a rich and unique history from colonial times through today. In fact, the “Rhode Island” in the full name of the state, Rhode Island and Providence Plantations, refers only to Aquidneck Island, the largest bay island.  Newport County Radio Club, W1SYE, is celebrating this rich history by activating multiple islands and lights this summer.
